Weekly Photo Challenge: Eerie

Well I guess “Eerie” is the perfect theme choice for this time of the year…

And for once I actually had a couple of picture choices come straight to mind!

Kuala Lumpur’s Batu Caves are pretty epic inside, with the shadowy surroundings providing some atmospheric scenery – but you wouldn’t like to be all alone in those cavernous chambers!

Elsewhere in Asia ancient Ayutthaya in Thailand houses the ruins of the country’s former capital. But as if ancient ruins weren’t creepy enough, why not just plant a Buddha’s head into the roots of a large spooky tree…?

So here’s my three creepy shots to fit this week’s theme.

    • Yeah it’s definitely a bit odd that Buddha head. From what I remember it wasn’t originally planned to go there though thankfully ha!
